Here Lived
Yael and Gil met in 2020 in Kibbutz Nir Oz, where their work in the medical cannabis industry brought them together.
Two weeks later, they went on their first date, and from that moment on, they walked a shared path together.
At the beginning of 2022, they moved into their new home in the Cactus Garden area – the most beautiful spot in the kibbutz, with a view of the sunset accompanying every evening.
Over the years, they shared many moments of happiness in the kibbutz – a cat stretched out on the sofa in the warm sunlight, and a peaceful life surrounded by open spaces.
October 7th
On October 7, 2023, Yael and Gil miraculously survived when they spontaneously decided not to return home and instead spent the night with Gil’s family in Jerusalem.
